INTERNET.
Nowdays, the Internet is present in every modern house and people use it widely. Without it, the world that we know would not be the same. News, ways of communication, messaging and even love! So in this new entry, we are going to question ourselves how the world would be with and without the Internet.
What would happen if tomorrow you could not access internet never again? What would you do?
Honestly, the first thing that we thought would be to kill ourselves but do not take it seriously jk. But seriously, how do you spect our society (that is used to use the Internet for EVERYTHING) to live for the rest of our life without it? Let´s put an example:
There is a boy that is super fannatic of comics and he wants to see the new films that are going to be shown but suddenly he can not use the Internet and every film new or a new trailer or a new poster or even the date that the film is going to be shown in the big screen is now unknown, that guy would just be living his worst nightmare.
In our case, we would try to connect to the Internet all the time because we live in a society in which we depend on the Internet and our generation is even more connected to it because we have lived, studied and grown up with the Internet.
To make it easier for you to understand this situation, we are going to talk about the following actions and how to perform them with and without the Internet:
- Setting an appointment with your friends.
With the Internet; talking via your phone with apps such as whatsapp.
Without the Internet; meeting at school breaks to set the hour and place to meet later.
- Comparing prices, specs and buying a tv.
With the Internet; visiting all web pages available to compare prices (media mark, ali express, fnac) and also to see if they work correctly.
Without the Internet; going to all shops physycally until you find the ideal price.
- Getting directions to get to a party in Madrid.
With the Internet; using google maps, asking Siri, getting a route in the Internet, etc.
Without the Internet; using huge paper maps, asking people around, etc.
